MySpace Japan, Tsutaya team up to support new acts

MySpace Japan and major Japanese music retail/rental chain Tsutaya have launched PC- and mobile-based websites to support next-generation artists.
MySpace Japan’s “Tsutaya channel” (http://jp.myspace.com/tsutayaofficial ) will feature music and video clips from some five up-and-coming Japanese acts each month. Their CDs will be available for rental free of charge at Tsutaya stores throughout Japan, and featured acts will perform at Tsutaya stores.
Acts featured this month are Magic Party, Glory Jackpot System, Slow, Urchin Farm and Aru.
