Music Matters in Mumbai

Hong Kong-based music-industry conference Music Matters is heading west – to Mumbai, to be exact.
Supported by Indian labels body the Indian Music Industry and mobile-phone maker Nokia, Music Matters has organized a one-day conference titled “Nokia Music Connects – The Indian Music Forum” that will be held at the Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai on Aug. 26.
The conference will be India’s first large-scale music-industry event, underlining global music companies’ growing interest in the Indian market’s potential.
